Oh the Irony

How I hate Calculus. Its hard to imagine on three months ago I was thinking I wanted to major in math. BUT NOW I REALIZED that CALCULUS is probably the most boring, obscure, pointless, worthless, absolutly evil form of math ever concieved. I will NEVER EVER take another math class again. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhh.
that was me screaming until I ran out of breath.

So now I'm going to go get ready to go to calc.

Good news. I just ran a quarter mile in 1:30. I'm pretty excited. Woot woot. Now all I have to do is keep my endurance up for the actual half mile. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Yah.

I just finished my interview with the Campus Safety director. I am pretty excited for this oppurtunity. I currently going to be in training to become a Reserve Safety Officer for January. Which is basically the same as a full time Officer except it is not full time and you don't get the room stipend; however, once I get my foot through the door I should be able to get myself full time for next year which would be excellent because than I won't have to get my room payed for. On the downside I'm going to get horrible hours over the next half year but that is to be expected.

So yes. Wish me luck as I start my training.

Campus Safety

So I'm going to be applying for a Campus Safety position for this semester. I will be watching video cameras ten hours a week. yay (sarcasim intended); however, I do plan on switching my postition next semester to be a Safety Officer which would entitle me patroling campus as a full time Campus Security Officer. The only problem with this is I will need to run a half mile in three minutes and forty seconds. I also am going to have to be sprayed above the eyes with mace as part of my training. I have an interview monday I could sure use some prayers because I am pretty desperate for a job.

Thank you to everyone who came to my concert last night. It was an amazing experience. I got to meet with the people giving me the scholarship and they seemed to be very found about me and already know half the things I've done. But that was to be expected. I'm preparing to go to calculus in an hour. I'm not really worried about it, but I do have a lot to get done this week.

On the plus side I might have finally found a job in catering. I might be catering PLUs special events and fancy parties. That would be a good job and it would work with my schedule. So I'm going to go and check in with that service today and see if I can't find myself a job.

I have two tests this week so I'm going to be eXtremly busy. So forgive me if I don't update in a while. i'll try but no guarentees. So it has been raining extremly hard for the last few days. We have a lake growing out in front of our dorm. I'm really happy I'm on third floor because bottom floor is getting all the water seeping through the ground. YES! I enjoy being on the third floor. Woot.

So I'll be coming home again for thanksgiving and that will be the next time I'll be traveling, and that is if the Passes are ok. So we'll see. I'll try to update later this week. Talk to everyone later. Adios

Need to practice

So I am getting ready to sing in my concert for this afternoon. I will be singing some enchanted evening in front of way to many people. I'm really nervous about this. I forgot my words to the song yesterday in practice and am in desperate need to feel better about it. So I think I'm going to go practice before church. Woot.
